Updates: Monday 11th May 2026
Hello beta users!
It's been a busy few weeks behind the scenes; we've been working on what we think is the biggest set of changes since launch, including a brand new way for operators to get their portfolios into Great Space in bulk and a much more polished email summary that brokers can send to your clients.
As ever, huge thanks for the steady stream of feedback. Most of what's below started as a comment from you. Keep it coming!
Best wishes, Chris + Chris
NEW Bulk Space import
The headline feature: You can now bring an entire portfolio into Great Space in one go, rather than adding spaces one at a time.
-
Upload a CSV, Excel sheet, or even a PDF brochure - SpaceAI maps the columns and fields onto the Great Space data model automatically.
-
A new review screen shows every row, flagging anything that needs your attention (missing parents, ambiguous matches, unusual values).
-
Possible duplicates are surfaced against your existing spaces so you can match-or-create on each row.
-
Recent imports get their own activity log with an undo option, so you can roll back a bad batch in a single click.
You'll find this under the new Bulk Import menu item. This mechanism is also able to automatically update the availability of spacesvia email... but more on this as we trial it with some of our operators.
NEW client email summary
We're trialling an email that can be sent to you that contain a link to the presentatino and a summary of all the spaces in your shortlist. You can trigger this from the Presentation drawer:
-
Your broker logo in the header.
-
A hero photo and auto-generated short narrative for the top pick.
-
The full shortlist grouped by tag, with thumbnails, listing links where available, and a rating chip on every space scoring over 70%.
-
The summary respects the order you've set in the presentation, and so does the PDF.
Presentation polish
Several improvements based directly on your feedback:
-
Reorder spaces within each tag group, so you decide what your client sees first.
-
Photo lightbox; clients can now click any photo in any presentation theme to view it full-screen.
-
Prune tags on individual spaces to clean up presentations.
Smarter clarification questions
-
We no longer chase clarifications on closed requirements or spaces a client has already rejected, saving you (and operators) noise.
-
Every clarification is now prefixed with the name of the person or AI that asked it.
"Add Space" dialog improvements
The unified Add Space form (used both internally and by operators responding to requirements) has had a wave of fixes and refinements, including a smarter address panel, better existing-space lookup, better validation and error messages, and a requirement that responses include at least one photo.
Improved emails
We've overhauled all of our email templates, ensuring they look more consistent and are easier to read. We've also improved the email subscription categories, giving you more control over which emails you receive.
