Add Rejection Reason Prompt for Providers

Hey guys. Hope the A/C is on today! I wondered if when sending a referral to a Provider who rejects it; is there an option for them to provide a reason why it's rejected? I'm just thinking sometimes it's Reject with the opportunity to overturn and sometimes it's a full Rejection - the reason being that the client has viewed already. Or sometimes the reason is no suitable space available. But the thing to understand is if the lead/referral can still be overturned by booking in a viewing. I see there is a space for "Provider Notes (private)", maybe the reason could go there? But perhaps they need to be prompted when selecting "Rejected" or however it works from their side...

Hi Wendy, Thought I'd answered this one... if you click the SpaceAI button in the bottom right corner of the Deal view, you'll see a timeline of the deal and referrals including any rejections and their reason. Additionally, at the bottom of the Referrals Status pane, there is a button "Download as CSV". This will download a file that you can open that shows all the referral statuses - including any rejection reasons. Best wishes, Chris.

Hi Wendy, I've just taken a quick look that the database for this particular referral and I think you are right. Landmark originally accepted the referral and submitted a space. This was then reviewed by yourself and subsequently marked as rejected. We are looking at improving the activity/history information associated with spaces and referrals which would give you more insight into change going forward. Note that you can always move a space back out of "Rejected" to the active pipeline! Best wishes, Chris,

Ahh, got it - ok! I think this is probably a fairly unique situation. Under the Referrals status section, that Provider (Landmark) actually shows Accepted. So maybe it was initially Accepted (in error for example) and then they changed their mind? Or... the client viewed through another broker and it was then changed to Rejected. Or.... I changed it to Rejected status myself and don't remember doing it - haha!

Hi Wendy! So, we do prompt for a reason when declining which is required for them to enter... though I admit it is a little bit hidden at the moment... 1. Click on the "Referrals" button from the requirement 2. Select the "Referrals status" tab at the top 3. Scroll to find the provider/rejection you are interested in learning more about 4. Click that row in the list -> it will now show you more information about the rejection, including any information they have provided.
